Legal Eye will present a 1 hour CPD looking at:• Making outward facing information compliant• Workable risk management strategies• Solutions to some of the key risks faced by conveyancing firmsThose attending the Seminar will be offered a free compliance review of their website, Client Care and/or Terms of Business Letters should they wish to participate.
The Green Deal – The Context and Consequences for Conveyancers
PSG will present 1 hour’s CPDThis one hour cpd will provide a comprehensive overview of the background to, and implementation of, The Green Deal. It will explore the legal framework to support the initiative, how it operates, take up figures to date. It will also provide information on identifying if a Green Deal exists, the issues for your clients as buyers, sellers, landlords or tenants and explore any liability issues the conveyancer may face.
Energy infrastructure including “fracking”, flooding and other environmental issues
Groundsure will present a 1 hour CPDFocusing on the increasing relevance of environmental issues such as flooding in the conveyancing process. Also exploring the implications of alternative sources of energy including wind farms, nuclear and shale gas on homebuyers and owners.
