John Graham, an Associate of Financial Eye and Legal Eye, will give this presentation on Risk & Compliance. John will outline some of the SRA's current 'Drivers of Change' and Key Risks, as well as summarising some key points that the Regulations require from Outward Facing Documents, some of the Registers and Plans that each COLP should have in place together with a view on Breaches and Training.
John will also briefly look at the role of the COFA and outline some common compliance issues from the SRA Accounts Rules 2011.
Overriding Interests and Title Insurance Solutions
Stacey Coppack from CLS will present a 1 hour
This session will focus on Overriding Interests past, present and future. It will also include a look at Title Insurance solutions, how it works and how we can get the best out of it.
The Legal Indemnity Insurance section of the presentation will look at recent case studies as well as the common indemnity risks that conveyancers face every day.
